On Sunday, the regular registration for the spectator races, that take place in connection with the World Cup Idre Fjäll, closed. It was a big interest with Sunday having the most registered with a total of 991 people who will be out in the beautiful terrain.

Compete in three exciting races alongside the world’s best orienteers. Secure your spot – entry closes on Sunday 8 June. All this, combined with traditional Midsummer celebrations at Idre Fjäll!

From June 18–22, the Orienteering World Cup will take place at Idre Fjäll. Cheer on the world’s top athletes and take the opportunity to participate in three exciting spectator races alongside some of the best orienteers in the world. All of this comes with the charm of the traditional Swedish midsummer celebration.

Celebrate a traditional Swedish Midsummer with us at Idre Fjäll. Together we will decorate the Midsummer pole with flowers and dance into the summer. The day also offers games and activities for the whole family – all in our beautiful mountain environment.

Swedish Television (SVT) will broadcast live from all three races in the World Cup Idre Fjäll 2025 during the midsummer weekend Thursday 19th- Sunday 22nd.

Swedish orienteering elite prepare for midsummer and the world cup

On the last day for registrations for this summer's World Cup Idre Fjäll 2025, we can note a record-breaking participation from as many as 30 different nations.A total of 196 men and 141 women have registered for the World Cup round.

Experience the World Cup at Idre Fjäll 2025 and simultaneously run our Spectator races in the company of the world's best orienteer. All this together with classic midsummer celebration at Idre Fjäll!

In addition to the orienteering you can experience a traditional Swedish Midsummer at Idre Fjäll in beautiful Dalarna! Enjoy the joy of Midsummer in a stunning natural setting surrounded by majestic mountains.

We will offer the same arena for all competition days and it is called "Arena Ostliften". It is the same arena that will be used during the World Cup competitions, which means that you as a spectator can stay and watch the competitions after your own race.
